Unifix Onsets and Rimes Kit
Your students will explore thousands of words with our onset and rime cubes. Each cube is printed with a different onset or rime on each side and can be connected to create scores of word combinations. Children can make and break words, decode multi-letter phonemes and even explore "nonsense" words as they build reading and spelling skills. The 40 onset cubes include four each of the initial consonant sounds plus common beginning blends. The 60 rime cubes are printed with 240 of the most frequently used rimes. The set includes a 20-page Teacher's Guide with teaching tips, activities and a glossary. Enough cubes for 4 to 6 students.
